Have a Free Night of Badminton On Us..

It's true! We're offering up 1x free trial night of badminton per person* on either our tuesday or friday club nights between 7 and 9pm.. If you've been an armchair olympian recently then this is your chance to try-out a growing global sport - albeit locally.

If interested then all you need do is turn up at Tenbury High School's sports hall.. All we ask is that you make sure that you wear non-marking trainers and clothes to run around in.. Ideally you should also have a basic badminton racket too but we may be able to negociate the use of one of those at the school on the one occasion (this to be confirmed).

Please note: If you're under 16 then you'll need to be accompanied by a verified adult, parent or guardian on any occasions that you play at the club - this adult is then responsible for your time with us and your safety.

* This offer doesn't apply to existing club members and can only be used once per person trying an evening's play.

Badminton Goes Boating..

A mixed canoeing group made up of some of the club's members.
Some of the club's members including Simon Prior, John Shaw, Andrea and David Jackman and Andy Stevenson took to the River Wye this recent bank holiday weekend in Canadian Canoes.

The outing was part of an annual event organised by Ali and Andy Stevenson in which friends and relatives canoe the river for a day. Many of the group camp alongside the event for one or more nights too and this year we managed a dramatic improvement by moving on from Aussie Barbara's down at heel 'Hollybush Pub' site and moved to the lovely Lower Porthamel Farm nearer Talgarth.

It was a great weekend and the canoeing day on Sunday 26th held out sun-wise too (to everyone's amazement!).. Well done all and thanks for helping us make it a great day on the water..
